European Code of Conduct for Data Centre Energy Efficiency Anord can help to achieve compliance

23 January 2009

The new code of conduct is sure to become a key vehicle in the drive to increase efficiency and to conserve energy in the Data Centre industry.

By providing clients with our Energy Monitoring and Billing System (EMBS), Anord can now assist Data Centre Operators to reduce energy consumption in line with the requirements of this new code of conduct.

Our experienced automation engineers provide custom configured EMBS packages to the specific requirements of any installation, giving Data Centre operators the metrics to produce accurate calculations on their plants Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and Data Centre Infrastructure Efficiency (DCIE). Our EMBS packages are also designed to communicate vital information in relation to individual rack power consumption which can be taken from Anord intelligent PDU's and can be programmed to produce accurate billing for multiple co-located clients. Each EMBS package includes configuration/programming, licenses, "head end" PC, factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and site acceptance testing, plus after sales support.

For further information on our EMBS packages, contact Gerald Mc Givern, Head of Anord Automation on +353 42 9320500
